The Task:
The client contacted us to address a prominent, unsightly stain on the leather armrest of their sofa. Over time, localized wear and chemical exposure had stripped the original finish, leaving an absorbent “spot” that stood out against the rest of the upholstery.
Our goal was to thoroughly clean the area, neutralize the stain, and prep the surface for a precision color match that would integrate seamlessly with the sofa’s existing patina.
The Result:
Using our specialized color-matching technology, we custom-blended a leather pigment to mirror the exact shade and sheen of the original piece. We applied the finish in fine layers, ensuring the texture remained soft and natural to the touch. As seen in the after photo, the stained spot has been completely eradicated, and the armrest is fully restored to its original elegance with a durable, protective topcoat.
