The Task:
If your dog was bored and bit your sofa, you might think a little filler will do the trick—but sometimes the damage goes too deep for a simple patch. In this case, the black leather corner was so badly torn and punctured that a standard repair wouldn’t provide the strength or seamless look needed for a high-traffic seat. The goal was to perform a complete structural restoration rather than just a cosmetic fix, ensuring the sofa would look and feel like it never met those puppy teeth.
The Result:
Don’t get frustrated because even the worst bites can be fixed! To ensure a factory-quality finish, we didn’t just patch the holes; we carefully deconstructed the sofa cover and replaced the entire damaged panels with high-quality matching leather. After resewing the cover with precision stitching, the structural integrity and smooth aesthetic of the black leather were perfectly restored. The result is a corner that is just as durable as the original, with no visible signs of the “bored dog” incident.
