The Task:
This leather armchair had lost its comfort and its luster. Over years of use, the internal padding had flattened significantly, particularly in the seat and armrests, leaving the chair looking “deflated” and feeling unsupportive. Additionally, the leather surface showed a prominent worn spot where the pigment had faded away. The challenge was to restore the chair’s original plush silhouette while seamlessly repairing the color loss on the leather surface to match the rest of the piece.
The Result:
Don’t get frustrated if your favorite chair has lost its “oomph”—it can be brought back to life! We performed a comprehensive re-stuffing of the seat and armrests, using high-resiliency materials to restore that signature puffy, cloud-like comfort. Once the shape was back to perfection, we addressed the worn leather by recoloring the faded area. By custom-blending the black pigment, we erased the wear marks, giving the leather a fresh, uniform finish. The chair is now just as cozy and beautiful as the day it was first bought.
